Over this past weekend my brother visited from Los Angeles and he wanted to do a few shoots. He really wanted to do a more sensual shoot and use a hotel room but the budget didn't allow. So, we did what we do best...Improvise. Yep, I'm the queen of improvision, I will DIY and make something out of nothing. I put these little hands to work doing all kinds of projects that aren't just limited to photography. But, anyway! I love to make my clients visions a reality, especially since this client was my brother.

I thought to myself, "Hmmm, I can definitely pull off the hotel vibes. Why not use my own bedroom? That's right, my own bedroom! Ohhh, I'll sacrifice almost anything for a photo shoot. Listen! It's just a photographer's thing! We'll go anywhere and do almost anything to get the shot we want; stand on a table, roll on the ground, cramp ourselves in a corner AND use our own D@MN bedroom! So, this was kind of perfect because I had a brand new comforter set stored away in my closet. What better timing than to incorporate it into a shoot! Hello, Paris! That's the theme of my comforter set!

...And yes, for those people that look very hard into an image! That is my laptop and a some cookies in a zip lock bag. Hey! Don't judge me this was pre-shoot shenanigans, I just shot this quick image to see if it was giving the vibes we were looking for and VOILA, it did. So, of course I moved the laptop and the cookies, brought up the lights from the studio, and we got started on the shoot. I think it was a success! But, I'll let you be the judge of that. I believe he got a few instagram worthy shots to post on IG for his 14.2K followers (but, who's counting). Now, if you think we pulled it off, leave a comment below and tell us what you think.

Side note: I wrote this post to let you know not to place debilitating limits on yourself, if there's a will then there's a way! I know it sounds cliche but if you can believe it, you can achieve it. Imagination and creativity is limitless. Fear is the only thing that will limit you from taking risks, believing in yourself, and following your dreams. Just know that if know has told you, you're simply amazing! I also wrote this post to let my clients and potential clients know that I truly love my craft and I will go above and beyond to make sure you have the shoot you envisioned. Until next time, "Je t'aime!" Yes, I'm still rolling with the french theme! Smooches!

Yep, that's right! As you can probably tell by the image. I'm definitely not talking about hair and for those that don't know what i'm talking about (Google it). Lol, I'm talking about my bundle of joy, my littlest baby girl, the newest and last edition to our family. Unless, we opt for a puppy or something later down the line. Probably not, but anyway! Her name is Ryleigh Gisele and she came in at a whopping 8 pounds and there most certainly won't be any more babies for me. I pretty much hit the reset button.

Welp! I'm back to nursing, changing diapers and dealing with a crying baby! But, birthing her has brought forth a change. A new thang! I'm talking about the changes I birthed in my business. I decided to revamp my studio to make it a more inviting experience for my clientele. I have also decided to upgrade equipment and add workshops to my scope of services. It's something about having another mouth to feed that will really light a fire under your ____ . Well, you can fill in the blank...

Speaking of blank, go ahead and fill out my contact form. So, I keep can in touch and keep you abreast (no pun intended, since i'm nursing and all) of all the new and exciting things that are happening over here. Even though, I have a new baby and i'm up all the time. I'm still creating new content, networking and booking appointments. Don't leave your girl hanging. Help a sista out! I love referrals, like you all loved that Popeye's chicken sandwich (that's another story for another day). I mean I didn't even get a chance to try one and if you didn't either you now have a chance to give me a try! I promise I won't bite and i'll even make it a pretty cool experience.

Well, as we all know all good things come to an end and so has this blog post. Go ahead and comment, let me know you were here and tell at least one person about me! Thanks in advance.
